How to create your own ebook

1. Pick a topic
What is your ebook going to be about? A great idea is always to try to solve a common problem in your content.
Think about your blogging niche. What are the issues you hear people within your audience talking about again and again? If you have the answer, use your expertise to create an ebook with the solution and people will buy it.
2. Do your research
Make sure you also include stats and facts to back up your ideas and show that you are someone credible who others within your niche or industry should listen to.
Without these, how do people know that you really do know what you’re talking about?
3. Keep it short
You don’t need to write a 50,000 word ebook! People are busy, they want to be able to read a book that gets to the point and helps them solve the problem quickly.
Keep it simple and drive the point home. Break up the text into easy to digest sections, using lists, bullet points and headings. People should be able to read your ebook in 1-2 hours.
4. Add your own style
There are likely to be other ebooks on the market offering the same solution as yours so you need a way to make your ebook stand out.
Add your own style, tone of voice and experiences to offer something different to your competition. Be creative, shout about your experience, and tell your readers why they should listen to your advice.
5. Find the best ebook maker
There are lots of different ebook creator tools and it’s up to you to pick the best one that suits you and that you find easy to use.
A popular free ebook creator is Visme and you can also use Canva to make an ebook. If you use a tool that allows you to create an ebook online you can work on it wherever you are.
Amazon also have a free Kindle cover creator if you plan to sell your ebook on Amazon.
6. Proofread, proofread, proofread
And we’ll say it again – proofread!
You might be the most experienced person in the world in your niche but if your ebook is littered with typos, spelling errors, or grammatical mistakes you will lose credibility fast.
You can use a free tool like Grammarly to help you spot and correct any errors within your writing.
7. Listen to an expert
There have been many bloggers who have published their own very successful ebooks, so why not find out how they did it.
Ana from The She Approach has successfully published not 1, but 3 eBooks which make her between $500 and $3,500 in revenue each month!
She has created the amazing Ebook Bestseller Bootcamp, a step-by-step video course, to teach other bloggers how to write, launch and sell their first (or next) bestselling eBook.
You can even get $20 off with the code EBB20OFF.

8. Promote your ebook
After all the effort you have put into creating your ebook, you need to make sure you tell everyone about it. Especially if you want to make money selling ebooks.
Use social media to shout about it from the rooftops, email your blog subscribers with a link to buy the ebook, and add CTAs to your existing blog posts.
You could also ask other bloggers and influencers to review the book and tell their followers about it. Don’t forget to share any good reviews you receive on social media.
